Mission Statement

City Christian School is a ministry of City At The Cross and has been serving the community since 1987. Our desire is focused towards the complete training and equipping of children and youth in both the spiritual and academic aspects of their lives.

Through understanding and application of Biblical principles and scriptures, we purpose to develop a true love for God and a sincere desire to serve Him.

With the proficiency of the A Beka Book curriculum, personal instruction, professional and highly trained staff, special activities and field trips, we desire to provide the appropriate environment for the building of a strong academic education.

City Christian School provides an extensive curriculum which includes the following subjects:  Language Arts, Mathematics, History and Geography, Science, Health, Sports, Arts, Music Appreciation and the Bible. Our philosophy is to create enthusiasm and interest in learning through age appropriate teaching, activities, lectures and games that teach the topic at hand. We also offer an Individual Studies Program for any age with the A Beka Book curriculum.

Theme - An Advantage For Life

Our curriculum:

Infant Care Center - Provides a loving and safe environment for children six weeks to two years old. We have experienced teachers who help begin each child's education in every part of their young lives.

Pre-School Center - Continues to develop each child's education in a loving, safe and open environment interacting with other children their ages. Experienced teachers help to guide each child as they progress every day.

Elementary School - Grades K-5th grade becomes an adventure for the child to experience each grade as they continue with their individual education. Experienced teachers guide them and teach them in each subject as they prepare for Middle School.

Middle School - Grades 6-8th is a time for each student to grow independently as they prepare for their further education. A community of educated and capable teachers will teach and monitor each one as they diligently study and advance each day. This is a great environment for growth and development in each student's life.

Individual Studies Program - City Christian School's Independent Studies Program is designed for students who enrolled in this program to complete their High School education. CCS desires and strives to provide an atmosphere of learning that allows for each student to grow academically, spiritually and socially at a pace conducive to each student enrolled in this program. a diploma will be issued upon their successful completion of their education.

Tuition

We continue to strive to keep tuition costs as low as possible. Sibling discounts are available to those needing aid.
