"May the LORD our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us or forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, which He commanded our fathers. And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, that He may maintain The Cause of His servant and The Cause of His people Israel, as each day requires, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no one else."

1 Kings 8.57-60

THE CAUSE DESCRIPTION

The Cause is a generation of Junior and Senior High School men and women who are radically committed to serving a cause and producing an effect called the Kingdom of God. It is our passionate belief that The Cause of God is to cause the Kingdom of God to be released into our homes, neighborhoods, schools, and cities. It is to this goal that we dedicate all that we are as humans—spirit, soul and body.

In effecting The Cause, we call upon the Lord our God to be with us as He was with our fathers and mothers in the faith, and that He would so work in our hearts that we would walk in His ways. We speak these words with boldness and faith that He may maintain The Cause of His servants and The Cause of His people. The greatest effect of this cause we serve is that the nations of the earth will know that the Lord Jesus Christ is God, no one else

The Cause consists of a three-fold reality of kingdom human existence in this generation. As humans, we have been designed by God to be human in and through our spirit, our soul, and our body. We refuse to allow the Babylonian system to separate the design of our lives into three opposing or unrelated realities. Rather, our desire and radical heart commitment is that our spirit, mind, and body would, in unity, serve and be The Cause of the Kingdom of God. Our prayer is the same as Solomon prayed long ago, that, \'Our God would be with us\', and that He would \'incline our hearts to Himself\', and that \'He may maintain The Cause of His servant and The Cause of His people\', the Kingdom of God that \'all peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no one else—.

The apostle Paul declares his prayer that the God of peace would sanctify the Church entirely—spirit, soul and body—complete and blameless.

1 Thessalonians 5.23: "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

In response to that ancient apostolic prayer of the Kingdom connected to Solomon\'s prayer of the same, it is our declaration that we in this modern world of the 21st century:

Dedicate our spirit to the Cause of the Spirit of Christ... Dedicate our mind to the Cause of the Mind of Christ... Dedicate our bodies to the Cause of the Body of Christ...

THE CAUSE STRUCTURE

The program of The Cause is structured in such as way as to facilitate and implement the vision of The Cause through the teaching of, understanding of, and training in the kingdom, equipping the entire person of a young man and woman of City at the Cross.

In order to facilitate this vision there are Three Structural Components of The Cause cohering in unity of relational reality dedicated to a common goal among a common people. Those who are part of The Cause interact seamlessly in and through the three structural components in order to release the full purpose and plan of God in and through their lives.

Structural Component 1: The Spirit

This structure is designed to equip and develop the spiritual reality of a young person by activating The Cause of the Person and Power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. At the epicenter of The Spirit is a weekly Spirit-filled Saturday evening gathering around Worship, The Word, and Work of the Holy Spirit.

In this weekly gathering of The Cause, each young man and woman will encounter the work of the Holy Spirit in a prophetic atmosphere, releasing apostolic grace and capacity to be a truly spiritual person in the earth.

This gathering will also allow the spirit of each young person to be united with the Holy Spirit in ministry and activity designed to build up and serve the other members of The Cause. The ministries of The Spirit of The Cause include but are not limited to the following:

The Cause Gathering will occur each Saturday night at the prophetically night at the prophetically. Matthew 6.10: "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Structural Component 2: The Soul / Mind

When the Scripture uses the word \'soul\' it is generally referring to the unseen reality of our human existence that serves the Spirit, but centers in the mind. Therefore this structure is designed to equip and develop the mental reality of a young person by activating The Cause of The Mind of Christ in their lives. At the epicenter of The Mind is strategic interaction with the Education Forum, designed to release accurate kingdom thinking in this generation.

The Education Forum is designed to unite and empower the minds of a young person with prophetic sight and apostolic purpose in their pursuit of educational training in Junior & Senior High School, Undergraduate, Graduate, and Post-Graduate centers of learning. It is our declaration that together, we have The Mind of Christ in this world and that the mental aspect of members of The Cause needs to be developed in unity with and equal to both The Spirit and The Body.

Components of The Mind of The Cause include, but are not limited to the following:

Structural Component 3: The Body

This structure is designed to equip and develop the physical reality of a young person by activating The Cause of The Body of Christ in their lives. At the epicenter of The Body is a radical commitment to the shared life of The Body of Christ, both as individuals and as group. As young people of The Spirit and The Mind our lives are intertwined as a common culture and expression of the life of The Body of Christ called The Cause.

We celebrate the reality that we are not our own and that the success of our individual lives is completely connected to and determined by the success of our brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe that The Cause of the Kingdom will result in a visible presentation of true community life to the corrupt and inaccurate systems of Babylon.
