CIS is an important component of the success of City at the Cross. It is designed to facilitate an accurate entrance into the community life of the Body of Christ here called City at the Cross. Our heart’s desire is that you will truly learn what it is to walk in the Life promised by the Lord to all those who are in Christ.

The word integrate means:  ‘To bring together and incorporate into a unified, harmonious, or interrelated whole or system’, and ‘to make part of a larger unit or group’, or ‘to meld with and become part of.’ In our case we are not a system, but a Kingdom Community expression of the Body of Christ. It is our joy to ‘bring together and incorporate’ who you are with who we are! We truly want you to meld and become part of our ‘group’.

The Community Integration Series consists of 4 Phases that enable someone to come and truly become integrated into the life and reality of our Kingdom Community called City at the Cross. The 4 Phases are four classes that teach and impart the core values, doctrine, and systems of life in City. Our goal is not just to give you doctrine, but to integrate you into a way of life and kingdom culture that will allow you to flourish and become successful in all that you do in Christ.

Psalm 92.12-14 reads, “The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green.” This is our passionate desire for all those who God has planted in this ‘house of the Lord’. We want to see God’s people flourish in all that they do. Not just now, but for many years to come!

The moment you decided to fully integrate into our Kingdom Community the devil decides to attempt to prevent you from doing so. He is unable to prevent your salvation, but will go to great lengths to stop you from becoming a fully integrated, equipped, and mature member of the Body of Christ. But know our God is an awesome God and it is His plan and purpose to plant you in His House that you too might flourish! Our prayer is that you will preserve and complete all of the 4 phases with great joy and patience.

This course is designed to introduce you to the life that is in Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus said that He came to give us life and that life abundantly. Whether you are new to the Lord or new to City at the Cross, this course will give you a Biblical foundation for the basics of our abundant life in Christ. LEVEL 1, offered twice a year, covers the following topics:

• The Garden of God
• The Tempter
• The Temptation
• The Fall
• The Promise of Salvation
• The Promise of Life
• The Slavery of Sin
• The Power of The Cross
• The Community – The Way to New Life
• The Promise of the Holy Spirit
• The Life of the Spirit
• The Coming of the Spirit

In the olden days, and even now in some parts of the world, wells represent the life-source around which families, cities, and even regions build their life existence. Wells are dug out of the earth and become the source of precious water. Our City Wells of Life are our core values from which we as a Community drink and around which we build our common lives. This class will allow you to dig deep into the earth of your life wells that God can fill with truth and value-principles out of which you can drink. LEVEL 2 is offered twice a year and covers the following topics:

• The Well of The Apostolic
• The Well of The Prophetic
• The Well of Reformation
• The Well of Faith
• The Well of The Word of Faith
• The Well of Governmental Prayer
• The Well of Worship
• The Well of Giving
• The Well of Generational Transfer
• The Well of The Kingdom
• The Well of Relationship
• The Well of Racial Diversity

The greatest human resource void of our generation is that of leadership. God is calling men and women of the Kingdom to become leaders in their worlds. This class is designed to teach, train, and equip men and women to become part of the leadership team of City at the Cross. Whether it is leading in our City Corral, as a DoorKeeper, or singing in the Worship Team, all those who serve in ministry are leaders. This course is offered twice a year and covers the topics of:

• The Definitive Leader 1
• The Definitive Leader 2
• Leadership Characteristics
• The Character of The Fruit of the Spirit
• Principles of Power 1:  “The Power of Purity”
• Principles of Power 2:  “The Power of Spiritual Authority”
• Principles of Power 3:  “The Power of Holiness”

Our final Phase of Community Integration is to be trained to lead a small group of men and/or women in one of our small groups called Grace Points. The GPN is designed to be a place where the men and women of City at the Cross develop true relationship based on a common life, study of the Word, and fellowship. This class is offered once a year and covers the following topics:

• The Current State of The Church
• Facilitating Grace Flow
• Leadership Principles & Qualities
